Refund & Weather Policy
Refunds are available up to two weeks before the session, minus a $95 non‑refundable deposit. No refunds for homesickness, heat‑related early departures, or disciplinary dismissals.
If significant thunderstorms are forecast within 36 hours of session start, staff may cancel the session for a full refund. Normal rain or non‑threatening storms won’t cancel camp, though activities may be adjusted.
🚨 Physical Advisory Note
Campers hike 4-8 miles a day (35-50 miles total) in hot Texas weather and sleep outdoors under tarps. Pre‑camp heat conditioning is essential, and heat exhaustion is the primary risk. We cool off with daily river swims, but campers must still arrive prepared for the heat. Please review our Requirements page for full details on pre-camp preparation.
